On November 3, within the framework of the Days of Azerbaijani Cinema of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Nakhchivan State Film Fund demonstrated the documentary film “The everlasting mission”, which was supported by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in the Culture House of Aralig village of Sharur district.
Before the film, director of Nakhchivan State Film Fund Mirakif Seyidov said that according to the Action Plan of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Day of Azerbaijani Cinema is held every Friday. Fiction and documentary films about the history, the present day of our people are demonstrated during these cinema days. The film “The everlasting mission”, which will be shown today, is one of our newest documentary films dedicated to the history of the People’s Republic of Azerbaijan.
It was noted that the creators of the film dealt with the life of the selfless people, who are confronting all difficulties for the republic, based on historical facts.
The script author of the film is Musallim Hasanov, producer is Fariz Ahmadov, operator is Rashad Nuriyev, chief producer is Arzu Aliyeva and film advisor, as well as leading actor is Tahir Aliyev.
The film “The everlasting mission” tells about the struggle of the members of the delegation to the Paris Peace Conference, led by the parliamentary speaker of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic Alimardan bey Topchubashov, for the struggle for national statehood ideas, their difficult fate and the end of life in the foreign country.
It was noted that during the filmmaking which lasted a year and half, the creative team conducted research in archives of Baku, Tbilisi, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Paris, filmed videos and photos in these cities, and filmed the conversations with scholars conducting researches on Azerbaijani emigration in France.
The film was met with great interest by the inhabitants.
