On December 15, Nakhchivan State Art Gallery hosted an open lesson for Nakhchivan State University students studying in the field of museum study, archives and monuments protection.
Gumral Mamiyeva, chief advisor of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, opened the open lesson and noted that important work is being done in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic to revitalize activities of museums, establish new museums, and build cultural institutions at the level of modern requirements. In addition to creating an extensive network of museums in our ancient city, it is also important that they are diverse. Today there are historical-ethnographic museums, memorial museums, museum complexes and museums related to the history of our statehood in our Autonomous Republic. All of these play an important role in protecting our cultural heritage, enriching the spiritual-aesthetic, ideological-political outlook of the younger generation and their sense of patriotism.
It was noted that the orders of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on the museums are the signs of concerns and attention to this area. These orders have played an important role in the establishment of new museums, increased interest to these cultural centers, and the proper functioning of museums. The construction of new buildings for our museums, their repair, reconstruction and providing them with the financial and technical base will help to improve the level of work. Speaking about the importance of the Decree of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated July 27, 2015, "On giving voluntary assistance to the professions in the institutions of specialties in higher and secondary special education to the associated organizations," the Ministry's chief advisor noted that the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic has more than 20 profession, and it covers various areas of culture and tourism.
