“Shared bread” was played in Sadarak region

On December 15, the Nakhchivan State Film Fund demonstrated the film “Shared bread” within the Azerbaijan Cinema Day at Culture House of Sadarak region.

Before the film, Shanheyat Safarova, an employee of the Nakhchivan State Film Fund, said that national leader Heydar Aliyev always paid great attention to the development of our national cinema. The development and innovation, progress and quality changes in our cinema have been possible thanks to the exceptional service of this genius personality.

Azerbaijan cinema, will be 120-year-old next year, has passed the trials of history honorably. There was difficult years in our cinema history but nevertheless, our cinema has had cultural events, sustained history of our people, national traditions and values, and had become a favorite art, penetrating all areas of our lives.

It was noted that in 1970-1980s, the historical films included in the golden fund of our culture, the unforgettable pages of our cinema chronicle and the other outstanding works have been screened. A number of our national films have been awarded state awards in these years and got awards at international film festivals and competitions.

Today, the work done by our national leader for the development of cinema is being successfully continued by Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the President of the country. The head of state approved “The State Program on the development of Azerbaijani cinema for 2008-2018” by the Decree dated August 4, 2008.

Then the film “Shared bread” shoted in 1969 was displayed. The film is about the difficult and destructive life of children during the last days of the Second World War and months following the war. Despite the hard life, children’s parents don’t lose their hopes to the future. Although the film is about the hard days of war, it also promotes optimism and confidence in people. The actors famous for their roles of childre performed in the film. The film was shot in Old City of Baki and in the Nalchik city of North Caucasus. Little Vagif’s life story is particularly impressive. The film was awarded the State Award of the Azerbaijan Republic in 1970.  The script writer of the film included in the golden fund of our screen art is Alla Akhundova, the director of the film is our well-known artist Shamil Mahmudbeyov. The music of the film is Vasif Adgozalov’s, People’s Artist of the Azerbaijan Republic. Our famous actors and actresses Fazil Salayev, Aghahuseyn Javadov, Sofa Besirzade, Amina Yusifqizi performed in the film. The schoolboy - Kamran Racabli played the role of Vagif in the film.

The film “Shared Bread” was welcomed by the audience.
