The winners of the drawing competition were awarded

An exhibition of drawings of students participated in master classes in drawing circles of creative centers of autonomous republic was organized at the Exhibition Hall of the Artists' Union of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic named after Bahruz Kangarli.

At the event, organized jointly by the Youth Foundation under the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the ministries of Education, Culture and Tourism and the Union of Artists of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Ulviya Hamzayeva , the Chairman of the Union of Artists, Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan said that today the state children policy implemented in our country, including the autonomous republic, is successfully continued. Such exhibitions organized in accordance with the action plan of the Union of Artists of  Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic are also a continuation of the measures taken in this direction.

Ulviyya Hamzayeva also noted that master classes for members of drawing circles were conducted at the drawing circles of children’s creativity centers operating in the autonomous republic. Today’s exhibition consists of drawings of the pupils participating in master classes. The classes organized in painting circles were conducted by the artists of the union. The main purpose of the lessons is to reveal talented children and to help them to succeed in their future activities.

Then, the executive director of the Youth Foundation under the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Mammad Babayev, collaborator of the Ministry of Education of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Rasim Rustamov, the collaborator of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Akbar Novruzov made speeches. The speakers said that today children are brought up in the spirit of respect for our national and spiritual values and are gaining success in education, sports, culture, arts and other spheres.

The speakers wished the children success participating in the exhibition. Then successful students were awarded diplomas and gifts.

It is worth noting that at the exhibition, where 139 paintings of 40 children are exhibited, there are a number of interesting paintings ranging from nature to patriotism.

At the end of the event the exhibition of drawings of the contest participants was viewed.
