Nikolas Canellas, ambassador of Greece to Azerbaijan has visited the monument of national leader Heydar Aliyev and Heydar Aliyev Museum today.

The guest was informed about the life and activities of the great leader. He looked at many documents, reflecting the most diverse moments of Heydar Aliyev's life and creating a broad idea of ​​the entire history of Azerbaijan, books dedicated to the great leader, and photos taken with the leaders of foreign countries.

It was noted that great leader Heydar Aliyev started to work for independence of Azerbaijan in the 90s of last century from this ancient land. The fateful decisions made in Nakhchivan in 1990-1993 led to independence to our country and prosperity to our people. The documents and photographs of that period are among the most valuable exhibits of the Heydar Aliyev Museum.

The ambassador will hold a number of meetings within the framework of his visit to Nakhchivan and get acquainted with the historical places of Nakhchivan.
