On February 20, the film quiz called "I love cinema" organized by the Nakhchivan State Film Fund and Sharur region Education Department was held at the Sharur Region Culture House.
Collectives of students in VII-X classes of Sharur region secondary schools took part in the film quiz. The objectives of this film quiz are to make a sensation on schoolchildren to cinema and promote our national film art.
The students of Kurkand, Aralig, Dudanga, Zeyva, Oghlangala, Ibadulla, Kurchulu village secondary schools and Sharur city secondary school №2 participated in the film quiz which was held in Sharur for the first time.
15 questions were asked to the teams of the students of these schools in the selection tour of the film quiz and each correct answer was evaluated.
The students of Sharur city secondary school №2 and Kurkand, Aralig, Oghlangala village secondary schools, 4 teams which got the highest points, are the finalists.
On February 20, Nakhchivan State Technical College hosted a discussion of Niccolò Machiavelli’s “The Ruler" work according to the list "Books that are necessary to read".
The event was opened by the head of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Library named after M.S.Ordubadi, PhD on History Aytekin Gahramanova.
Tamella Asgarova, head of the acquisition department of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Library named after M.S.Ordubadi reported about "The life and creativity of Niccolò Machiavelli", Dilara Aliyeva, the head of the service department of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Library named after M.S. Ordubadi gave information about "The Ruler".
On February 19, Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Library named after M.S.Ordubadi held a conference on "Maintaining our mother language" at Nakhchivan Music College dedicated to International Mother Language Day.
The event was opened by the director of Nakhchivan Music College, Gunay Aliyeva. Elnura Asgarova, teacher of Nakhchivan Music College made a speech on “Mother language is our national wealth”, the director of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Library named after M.S.Ordubadi, PhD on History Aytekin Gahramanova on "The role of libraries in the promotion of mother language ", and Zeynab Sadigova, the librarian of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Library named after M.S.Ordubadi on the topic "Maintaining our mother language".
On February 17, the Nakhchivan State Children's Theater presented the two-part allegorical comedy "We Need Rabbit and Santa Claus" to the little spectators at the Kangarli Region Culture House.
The play, its author is Tofig Seyidov, the Honored Artist of the Azerbaijan Republic and director of the theater, is just like a small joke. Bear is looking for a job in the woods and it was told to him that Rabbit is working as bear. They can only give him the job of the Rabbit. Bear wants to prove that he is the true bear even though he agrees to work. He is complaining to prove it, because it is written in his document that he is a rabbit. Those who came to look at the documents of the Bear who sent the letters of complaint, also say he is a rabbit according to his documents. Rabbit is called Bear in his documents, that's why the complaint is a nonsense. But Bear doesn't agree with this.
Then the main conflict in the play begins, the events are very interesting.
On February 19, the Sharur Region People's Theater named after Rza Tahmasib presented the play of Najaf bey Vezirov - "A form of home education" to the town people at Kangarli Region Culture House.
This theater, celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2016, staged the plays of modern playwrights, along with the works of our outstanding playwrights M.F.Akhundov, J.Mammadguluzade, S.S.Akhundov, A.Haqverdiyev, N.Vezirov, J.Jabbarlı and others.
The small-size comedy of our famous playwright Najaf bey Vezirov's "A form of home education" is one of his first plays. The bad and rude upbringing in landlord families, ignorance caused by modern society and moral deformity are the main themes and critiques of the comedy. For the criticism and exposure of laziness and inability, the author used two young men of the wealthy class.
