Drawing competition on "Great leader Heydar Aliyev through the eyes of young artists" continues

The drawing competition dedicated to the theme "Great leader Heydar Aliyev through the eyes of young artists" was held in Shahbuz region for the purpose of implementation of the Action Plan for the 2017-2018 academic year related to the effective organization of educational, cultural and tourism enterprises, jointly endorsed by the Ministries of Culture and Tourism and Education of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and revealing young talents among schools.

The director of the Nakhchivan State Art Gallery, the member of Artists’ Union of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Hokuma Mammadli delivered a speech and mentioned that the development of Azerbaijan culture including fine art is connected with the name of the great leader Heydar Aliyev. During his power the great leader paid special attention and care towards painting art.

Then, the collaborator of Education Department of Shahbuz Region Aynur Guliyeva made a speech.

A roundtable talk on "Islamic Culture and National Values"

A roundtable talk on "Islamic Culture and National Values" under the motto "Nakhchivan is the capital of Islamic culture" was held at Julfa City Children's Music School on January 16.

Parvin Hasanov, Head of the Culture and Tourism Department of the Julfa Region, made an opening speech at the round table talk organized by Scientific and Methodological Center for Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and Culture and Tourism Department of the Julfa Region and spoke about the importance of being the capital of Islamic Culture of Nakhchivan for 2018. It was stressed that being the capital of Islamic Culture of Nakhchivan for 2018 is proud for every citizen of autonomous republic and we acknowledged it as a significant event.

There are some monuments reflect the Islamic culture in Julfa and these monuments have been restored thanks to the state care. Along with the mosques in the region, the Gulustan Tomb, the Khanagah Complex, Arafsa and Almammad sacred places are known as religious and cultural monuments of Islamic Culture.

A master class was conducted for circle members

Several cultural objects are operating in the culture house built in a modern style. Modern working conditions have been established for nearly 40 workers. The created conditions make it possible to conduct different cultural-mass events here.

In this newly launched Culture house children’s yalli group, drawing (master is Farrukh Gasimov), garmon (master is Sahib Jafarov) circles for children are operating. The care towards children’s yalli group and circles deserves worth of mentioning. 10 easels were presented to children’s drawing circle by the state. Revealing of talented children is also in the focus of attention in the culture house. It is planned to create handicrafts circle in the culture house.

On January 15, a master class was conducted for the members of drawing circle of Sadarak Region Culture House by the organization of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

The film "In a southern city" was displayed in Babek region

The Nakhchivan State Film Fund screened the film "In a southern city" within the framework of the Day of Azerbaijani Cinema in the Babek Region Payiz Village Center on January 12.

Before the film, Shanhayat Safarova, an employee of the Nakhchivan State Film Fund, said that national leader Heydar Aliyev always paid great attention to the development of our national cinema. The development and innovation, progress and quality changes in our cinema have been made possible thanks to the exceptional services of this genius person.

Azerbaijan cinema, will be 120-year-old next year, has passed the trials of history honorably. There were difficult years in our cinema history but nevertheless, our cinema has had cultural events, sustained history of our people, national traditions and values, and had become a favorite art, penetrating all areas of our lives.

A meeting with families of martyrs in Shahbuz city

On January 11, a meeting was held with the families of martyrs by the organization of Shahbuz region Culture and Tourism Department at Shahbuz City Culture House.

First, the memory of the heroic patriot sons who died for the freedom of our homeland and the integrity of our lands was commemorated with a minute-long silence.

The director of Shahbuz city Culture House Zakiyya Rustamova opened the event and spoke about the state care shown to martyr families in our country including the autonomous republic. It was mentioned that the problems of families of martyrs are in the focus of attention, appropriate measures are carried out to improve their housing and living conditions. Thus, till now211 war veterans and families of martyrs have been provided with flats and individual houses.

The director of the Culture House who said that granting aid to these families is a civil liability, mentioned that our people always remember the memory of our martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our homeland and sovereignty of our state. Assistance to the families of martyrs, further improvement of their welfare and the solution of their social problems are continuously continued.
