The concert of the pupils of children's music, art and crafts subordinated to the Nakhchivan City Culture and Tourism Department under the motto "Nakhchivan - The Capital of Islamic Culture - 2018" was held in Babek Region Culture House.
At first, Tarana Jafarova, the Head of the Nakhchivan City Culture and Tourism Department said that the concert was held according to the department's actions plan.
It was noted that Nakhchivan city is the capital of Islamic culture for 2018. On this occasion, the Culture and Tourism Department will hold a number of events.
It was stressed that the purpose of the concert was to promote Azerbaijani and world music in music schools.
The event was held on the occasion of the 126th anniversary of Bahruz Kangarli at the Museum of Bahruz Kangarli.
The director of the museum Sabina Alinjali opened the event held with the participation of the teachers and students of Children’s Music and Art school and Children’s Music and Artistic Craftsmanship school named after Artoghrul Javid. She mentioned that it has become a traditional case in the autonomous republic to immortalize the names of the outstanding people. It was mentioned that the Museum of Bahruz Kangarli was established on the basis of the Decree of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated May 22, 2001. The museum was opened with the participation of the national leader Heydar Alieyev on 18 June, 2002. The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev signed a Decree on holding the 120th jubilee of Bahruz Kangarli in 2012. According to the Decree measures were carried out in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the copies of Bahruz Kangarli’s works preserved at the Museum of Azerbaijan National Art were presented to the Museum of Bahruz Kangarli. For the first time, the complete collection of the artist's works was published as album-catalog. Postage stamps were released on the occasion of the jubilee in the autonomous republic, the documentary film was shot dedicated to the life and activity of the outstanding artist and the building of the Museum of Bahruz Kangarli was reconstructed and put into operation in 2013.
On January 9, discussion of the book “Fables” (children’s literature) included the list of “Books that are necessary to read” was held.
The director of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Library named after M.S.Ordubadi Aytakin Gahramanova opened the event. The collaborator of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Library named after M.S.Ordubadi Sudaba Heydarova made a speech on the topic “The educative importance of fables”, the chief librarian of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Library named after M.S.Ordubadi Leyla Ganbarova on the topic “Fables”-Children’s literature” and the librarian of the secondary school No.7 Tukaz Aliyeva on the topic “The role of reading in the education of students”.
It was noted that fables are the ancient genres in folklore. Fable is one of the ancient genres in epic poetry. Fables are small in size but expresses deeper meaning.
On January 10, a methodical course on solfeggio, music literature and choirs for teachers of children's music schools was conducted subordinated to Nakhchivan City Culture and Tourism Department at the Children's Music and Art School.
The main purpose of holding these courses is to enrich the pupils' outlook. The acquaintance of the students with general and Azerbaijani music literature plays an important role in the formation and comprehensive development of musical education in them. The main purpose of the methodical courses is to raise the level of teachers' knowledge and to direct those who teach this subject. Teachers have also been given detailed information about the solfeggio.
Then, Nuray Huseynova, teacher of Children's Music School No. 3 named after S.Rajabov, conducted a methodical lesson on “Teaching of solfeggio in the five and seven year’s education system”. It was noted that during the teaching process of solfeggio in music schools, the students should be able to set up the order of Azerbaijani modes, to form the capability of hearing the Azerbaijani modes along with the major-minor system and folk musical samples should be cited in various intonation goals.
By the organization of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the master classes were conducted for the teachers and students of Nakhchivan City Children's and Art School.
Before the lessons, the collaborator of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Leyla Alimardanova stated that the main purpose of conducting these lessons is to raise the quality of teaching, to develop students' skills and abilities.
Then the outstanding teacher and musician of the autonomous republic, the Honored teacher on tar profession of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Dunyamali Abdullayev, the Honored teacher on piano profession of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Narmina Gadimova, the Honored teacher on canon profession of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Mahabbat Babayeva, the Honored culture worker on kamancha profession of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Mahira Mammadova, the teacher of violin profession of Nakhchivan Musical College Ilaha Aliyeva, the Honored teacher on garmon profession of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Isa Aliyev conducted master classes for the teachers and students.
Dunyamali Abdullayev mentioned that the tar is an ancient musical instrument of Azerbaijan people. Teaching the students to play the tar musical instrument during the teaching process, the students should also be practiced the habit of learning, taking into consideration their individual qualities they should given creative approach. The teacher should know the methodology of tar teaching.
