Gennady Akhramovich: “We are interested in exportation of the products to Belarus produced in Nakhchivan”

Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to our republic, Gennady Archimovich  said in his interview to “Sharg Qapisi” newspaper that he was pleased to visit autonomous republic. Diplomat emphasized that Nakhchivan   gained  achievements  in some fields and it is worth being taken as a sample. Furthermore,  he noted that it was important to apply  advanced experience  in the Republic of  Belarus gained by autonomous republic . Gennady Akhramovich said:

- This is my first visit to Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. I work in the Republic of Azerbaijan more than a year. I was eager to pay visit to the ancient place of Azerbaijan which is close friend of the Republic of Belarus. I know that Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is a place where great national  leader of Azerbaijan,  Heydar Aliyev was born and grew up and also  a region which  bestowed  a number of  historic persons, conquerors, educated people, figures of science to Azerbaijan. That is why, I was pleased to visit this unique place. I want, especially,  to emphasize that  all my positive thoughts about  this beautiful land not only justified themselves, but also uniqueness of  autonomous republic  fascinated me more than I expected  and made very rich impressions. Cleanness and tidiness in the streets of Nakhchivan city, hospitable and affable people reminded me my own homeland, Belarus. Nakhchivan-born people may be proud of  creating marvelous composition of modernity with  historicity, protecting national values in the highest level and gaining great success in all these  fields. Though my visit program   to autonomous republic  was too busy, I was acquainted with a number of historical-cultural  monuments. They were  really amazing. While getting acquainted with the economic potentiality of Nakhchivan , we were informed that autonomous republic completely  provides itself   with food products at the result of people’s hard toil, intended activity and  right economic  policy  pursued  here. This achievement of Nakhchivan  amazes the people. This big experience gained by autonomous republic constitutes a pattern some countries. This experience is of great significance when it is applied in  the regions of Belarus.

Here I was also in high education schools. All conditions have been created  for the students to be brought up as prepared cadres in Universities. Everything is perfect. Because of this, I think it is important to build up close relations between high education institutions of  Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and high schools of the Republic of Belarus. We want to collaborate in all fields. During the meetings we discussed about the extensions of the relations with the heroic Brest city of the Republic of Belarus and Nakhchivan city recently. An agreement was signed about collaboration in economic-commercial and humanitarian-cultural fields between Nakhchivan and Brest cities in 2012, these two cities were declared “sister” cities. We want this partnership to make progress in a new course dynamically. We will not lack our efforts in building close relations between the regions of the Republic of Belarus and Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in the future. We have been to the institutions of Nakhchivan where construction materials are produced. Especially, the conversion of stone products in a high level, the quality of  the products are noticeable. Let me note that we need these products too much. As construction works have extended in Belarus today and a number of objects are being constructed. We would like to use stone products of Nakhchivan in constructions of those objects. In a word, we are interested in exportation of products to Belarus which  are produced in Nakhchivan. We were also in Duzdag Physiotherapy  Center. We watched  salt tunnel and salt rocks there in surprise. We  have learnt that there  is treatment of different  lung  diseases here. In this way I find it important to extend the relations in the field of health tourism  between Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic  and the Republic of Belarus. I think these relations will have very big perspectives . We also have other plans in this collaboration field. However, it is important  to discuss about the matters  provoking mutual interest , to continue  the meetings for their realization. We will take concrete steps in this direction   next months. The major thing is that both sides have the same views in the matter of development of  relations.  In this sense, I am very satisfied with my visit to autonomous republic. My visit gave a better result than I expected.
