Israeli Ambassador Dan Stav: “Israel is interested in developing economic relations with Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and this will turn into a practical issue”.

The extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Israel to Azerbaijan Dan Stav got acquainted with the ancient historical monuments and cultural facilities of the autonomous republic in the frame of his visit to Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

The ambassador expressed his impressions about Nakhchivan: “My visit to Nakhchivan is a part of my visits to different regions of Azerbaijan. Nakhchivan is an important part of Azerbaijan. What I saw in Nakhchivan made deep impressions on me. In particular, I should note the existence of a modern hospital in Nakhchivan and the availability of a mineral water treatment system. All these show that Nakhchivan has high tourism potential and has been developing at a high level.The purpose of this visit is to build cooperation and to develop relationships in the areas of mutual interest. I also met the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Mr. Vasif Talibov and the ministers as well. The main purpose of the meetings is to expand cooperation in the field of health and agriculture”.

The ambassador stated that Israel is interested in developing economic relations with Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and this will turn into a practical issue:

“I have observed that Nakhchivan also produces products with high export potential. I also met with therepresentatives of “Gamigaya Holding”. The aim of the meeting was to discuss possible cooperation between Israeli companies and “Gamigaya Holding”.
