Conducting training seminars for museum guides of the autonomous republic is continued. The next event was held at the Museum of Heydar Aliyev.
At the event holding by the organization of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, collaborator of the ministry Gumral Mamiyeva made a speech on the topic “Behavior rules of museum guide” and mentioned that the main purpose of the seminar-trainings for the museum guides is to increase the theoretical and practical knowledge of museum guides in connection with the organization of excursion work in museums. During these events, the guides not only try to learn more about their functions, as well as got detailed information on the museum work. Conducted training seminars were also useful in creating conditions for museum staff to get acquainted with museums located in all regions of our ancient land.
It was noted that in the autonomous republic, consistent measures are being taken to organize the museum activity at the highest level. Construction of new buildings for the museums, their repair, reconstruction and strengthening of material and technical basis helps to increase the level of work.
It was mentioned that museum guides should be aware of museum work and innovations in the autonomous republic, respond the questions on scientific basis. Today, the museum guide should constantly study the history and culture in order to provide tourists with detailed information about our ancient land. In the first half of 2017, there were more than 217,000 visitors in our museums, of which about 45,000 were foreigners. In the last half of this year, about 800 exhibits were included in our museums. Exhibits presented by our citizens to our museums show positive results in this area.
Then, the exposition of the Museum of Heydar Aliyev was viewed by the presentation of the museum guide.
In the end, the excursion text was discussed and methodical recommendations were given to museum guides.
It should be noted that seminars in museums will be continued by the end of the year.
