About 9,600 visitors visited the Museum of Heydar Aliyev in 9 months of the current year

The Decree of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of  Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic  dated December 19, 2014 “On strengthening of relations with the museums” plays a big role in providing collective moves to museums operating in the autonomous republic. Such visits to museums have opened wide opportunities for the audience to explore the history and culture of the ancient Oghuz land, the life and activities of the outstanding personalities of this land. The museum of Heydar Aliyev in Nakhchivan is the most visited cultural institution in the autonomous republic.

9596 people have visited the Museum of Heydar Aliyev in the last 9 months of the current year. 7089 of them were native, 2507 were from foreign countries. At the same time, the school-museum network, created with the educational institutions of the autonomous republic, plays a great role in getting acquainted with this cultural institution. Thus, in accordance with the Decree of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated 20 June 2014 “On additional measures for the organization of electronic education in the educational institutions of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic”, from February 1 to September 30, the Museum of Heydar Aliyev hosted 31 open lessons for students of secondary schools and 38 hours for students of secondary special schools. The lecturers gave detailed information to the audience about the national leader Heydar Aliyev’s efforts to preserve the state independence of Azerbaijan, to ensure its further development, and to promote the state in the world.

There are also enough people who use the museum’s website to visit the Museum of Heydar Aliyev. During the nine months of the current year 44,400 people have visited the museum virtually.

It should be noted that the Museum of Heydar Aliyev which named after the outstanding public-political and statesman, world-renowned politician, the eternal leader of the people of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev was established on February 18, 1999 by the Decree of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov in Nakhchivan city, the capital of the autonomous republic and started operating on May 10, 1999. At present, 4665 exhibits are exhibiting in the museum, 36 of them have been received in the 9 months of this year.
