The fulfillment of tasks arising from the Order of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated August 28, 2017 “On books that are necessary to read”, which serves the formation of patriotism, commitment to national roots, history and outlook in the younger generation, is in the center of attention of the educational and cultural institutions of the autonomous republic.
For this purpose, the Nakhchivan City Education Department together with the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Children’s Library named after Adil Babayev has drawn up a schedule for events to be held at secondary schools. According to the schedule, the second and fourth week of each month is scheduled for holding general meetings in public schools, discussions on these books on Fridays.
The first event was held at the Nakhchivan city secondary school No1. At the event, the employee of the library Samira Aliyeva talked about the importance of the Decree. It was noted that reading plays an important role in enriching the inner world, forming the world outlook, developing the ability to speak, as well as the creation of positive human and intellectual qualities. The signing of this state document will have a significant impact on the interest of young people in reading and forming their artistic taste.
Then, Samira Aliyeva spoke about “National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s appeal to the Azerbaijani people on New 2001, New Age and Third Millennium” included in the list, director assistant of the Nakhchivan city secondary school No1. Jamila Nagiyeva spoke about “Eynali bay Sultanov. Articles”, literature teacher of the school Naiba Hajiyeva “Nizami’s wisdom and advice”, and the collaborator of the Nakhchivan city Education Department Tahmina Ibrahimova spoke about “Mahammad Tagi Sidgi. School stories”.
