“The State Program on the education and rehabilitation of Children with Disabilities in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in 2016-2020” approved by the Order of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated January 11, 2016, has set a number of important tasks before a number of ministries, committees and offices of the autonomous republic, and it’s planned to spend the leisure time of children with disabilities effectively and meaningfully. A number of activities are being carried out in our Autonomous Republic to educate children of this category, to organize high-level education, to conduct distance lessons, to involve them to the sports schools and out-of-school institutions and to reveal their talents. We are trying to acquaint these children with the historical-architectural monuments and museums and show them cinema, concert and theater performances on holidays.
On November 18, Nakhchivan State Children's Music and Art School hosted a concert of Nakhchivan State Children's Philharmonic for children with disabilities under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
The concert started with the “Shushtar” mode performed by the ensemble of folk instruments.
The song “Salam Nakhchivan” performed by Babek Samedzadeh and Kenan Akbarov, the soloists of the Philharmonic, was applauded loudly.
Folk songs, tasnifs and rhythmic mugham performed by Khazar Mammadov, Tavakkul Valizada, Babek Samedzade, Mahammad Kangarli, Tayyar Madatli, Ali Mehraliyev, Alakbar Sadigov, Musa Abdullayev and Hasan Babazade, the talented soloists of the collective, created a pleasant atmosphere for the audience.
“Ovshari” song played on saz by Seymur Farajov, played on balaban by Alekber Mammadov, played on naghara by Azer Mammadov, was listened with interest.
Fuad Mamiyev, Mikail Nasirov, Safar Jafarov, Musa Abdullayev and other soloists of the Philharmonic performed cheerful and lyrical songs by well-known composers Tofig Guliyev, Jahangir Jahangirov, Shafiga Akhundova, Polad Bulbuloglu.
The concert of Nakhchivan State Children's Philharmonic ended with “Heyrati” rhythmic mugham.
