A round-table talk on the “Work to be done to improve the professional training of museums’s staff” was held

On December 5, a roundtable discussion was held at the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Literature Museum named after J.Mammadguluzade.

Gumral Mamiyeva, Senior Adviser of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, launched the discussion and noted that a lot of work had been done to establish new museums and improve the activities of museums and these cultural centers are built at the level of modern requirements. In addition to creating an extensive network of museums in our ancient city, it is also important that they are diverse. Today there are historical-ethnographic museums, memorial museums, museum complexes and museums on history of our statehood in our Autonomous Republic. All of these play an important role in the preservation of our cultural heritage, the enrichment of moral-aesthetic , ideological-political outlook of the younger generation and patriotic education.

It was noted that the orders of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on the museums are the indicators of attention and concerns to this field. These orders have played an important role in the creation of new museums, increased interest in these cultural centers, and the proper functioning of museums. The construction of new buildings for our museums, their repair, reconstruction and providing financial and technical base help to improve the standards of work.

It was stressed that various events, seminar-trainings, courses, round-table talks are organized to improve the standards of training of the museums’ staff. All of these serve to improve the theoretical and practical level of the museums’ staff. It was noted that today’s round-table talk on the “Work to be done to improve the professional training of museums’s staff” was held for this purpose.

Then, Ramil Orucaliyev, the director of Haydar Aliyev Museum, Nizami Rahimov, Honored Culture worker, the director of Nakhchivan State History Museum, Zamina Gulmammadova, the director of Nakhchivan State Carpet Museum, Alamzar Ibrahimova, the director of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Literature Museum named after J.Mammadguluzade, Bahruz Akhundov, Honored Culture Worker, the director of Huseyn Javid’s House Museum and the Memorial Complex, Sabina Alinjali, the director of Bahruz Kangarli Museum, Abasat Nuriyev, the director of House Museum of J.Nakhchivansky and others gave speeches during the discussions of this issue. They exchanged views on the adoption and registration of items belonging to our museums, the rules of protection of the belongings of scientific-auxiliary and raw materials, the regime of museum protection and light system, protection of various materials and objects and other actual issues of the museum’s work.

After finishing round-table talk the exposition of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Literature Museum named after J.Mammadguluzade was viewed.
