On December 21, the solo concert of IV-year student on vocal specialty of Nakhchivan Music College Emin Huseynov took place at “Ganlik” Center.
Before the concert it was noted that the college established with order and initiative of the national leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev in 1974, which began its activity on 4 specialties, was called Nakhchivan Secondary Special Music Technical School until 1992. Since 2005 it has been working as Nakhchivan Music College. At present cadres are prepared on 10 specialties in the college.
It was stressed that on the basis of the Decree of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated March 29, 2017 “On holding the 40th anniversary of Nakhchivan Music College”, the anniversary of this educational center was marked widely.
It was mentioned that Nakhchivan Music College established with the purpose of to prepare qualified music cadres, to involve talented young people to get music education, to preserve our national instruments and folk songs, to study works of classical and world composers, contributes to prepare young musicians today. Emin Huseynov is one of the successful students of the college.
At first “Nostalji” instrumental ensemble performed “San ey ushaglig” song by our outstanding composer Vasif Adigozalov composed for the poem of poet Aliagha Kurchayli. Then “Hardasan”, “Kaman”, “Nazanda sevgilim”, “Nakhchivan” songs performed by Emin Huseynov were met with applauses. Emin Huseynov also performed Elza Ibrahimova’s “Unuda bilmazsan”, Rauf Hajiyev’s “Sevgilim” songs together with Gunel Hajiyeva. The cheerful and lyric songs performed by the teachers and students also were met with interest. The talented student was escorted by Fatali Akhunzadeh on the tar and Sevil Nagiyeva on the piano.
The teacher of the college, the Honored artist of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Elchin Naghiyev performed Ogtay Kazimi’s “Na galmaz oldun” song at the concert.
After the concert, the minister of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Natavan Gadimova noted that the solo concerts of talented students are the cultural events in the activity of the college. It was noted that such concerts are especially important to give concerts for larger audience in the future.
