An exhibition of pupils' handicrafts studying painting

On December 22, the exhibition of the students studying drawing specialty at the children’s music, art and artistic craftsmanship schools in the autonomous republic was organized at Nakhchivan State Art Gallery. The minister of culture and tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Natavan Gadimova made a speech and mentioned that in accordance with the Decree of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of  Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated January 31, 2012, "On raising public care for young talents in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic", the creation of the “Golden Book” of young talents,   the names of eight talented children in this book and giving them special scholarships is another expression of concern for talented children.

The minister noted that the Ministry of Culture and Tourism includes 26 children’s music, art and artistic craftsmanship schools. At Nakhchivan City Children’s Music and Art school, Children’s Music and Artistic Craftsmanship school named after Artoghrul Javid, Sharur City Children’s art school named after Bahruz Kangarli drawing specialty is taught.

It was noted that during 11 months of 2017, 3 master classes included 2 etudes were conducted by the artists for the students studying drawing specialty at the children’s music, art and artistic craftsmanship schools. In April, the drawing contest dedicated to the 94th birthday of national leader Heydar Aliyev was held and the drawings of the winners were demonstrated at the end of the autonomous republican competition. At “Talented children” festival dedicated to 1 June- International Day of Children’s Defence held at “Nakhchivangala” Historical-Architectural Museum Complex,  69 paintings of the pupils studying drawing at children's musical, art and artistic craftsmanship schools were exhibited. At the festival, 7 pupils demonstrated their skills in the form of etude works. 

The concert of the National Instruments Ensemble of the Nakhchivan State Children's Philharmonic took place at the event.

The talented soloists of the ensemble performed mugams, tasnifs, composer songs. Then the exhibition was viewed.

It should be noted that 80 drawings produced in portrait, landscape, still life genres of 17 pupils caused interest in the exhibition. The paintings reflecting the historical monuments, nature, national costumes and domestic life of our country and the autonomous republic were met with interest by the audience.

The exhibition is scheduled for several days.
