Tourist-Ethnography Center members visit Nakhchivan Tourism Information Center

On January 22, in accordance with the “Action Plan for the 2017-2018 academic year related to the effective organization of education and culture and tourism facilities” of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of  Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the circle members of Tourist-Ethnography Center visited Nakhchivan Tourism Information Center.

The purposes of this excursion are to organize the effective leisure time of children, to love their homeland, to acquaint them with historical monuments, to inform about the exhibits reflecting our history, to know our history and to transfer it to future generations.

Peri Ibrahimova, the senior adviser of the Center, informed the members about the establishment of the center and its activity. It was noted that the center has been operating since 2012 the historical monument Zaviya-Madrasa of the XVII-XVIII centuries.

It was also noted that one of the main activities of the Nakhchivan Tourism Information Center is informing the local and foreign citizens applying to the center. Visitors can get information about hotels, restaurants, museums, shops, rented houses, historical and cultural monuments, tour firms, guides.

The circle members got acquainted with the photos of historical-cultural monuments, promotion-advertising materials demonstrated in the center.

At the end the questions of the members were answered.
