Azad Jabbarov: The selection of Nakhchivan as the Youth Capital of the country is of great importance.

State youth policy, founded by national leader Heydar Aliyev, continues successfully beyond the capital.

The work done in this field in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is the most obvious example. Thanks to the attention and care of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, work with young people in Nakhchivan is at the highest level, based on today's demands. Thus, for the purpose of youth development in our Autonomous Republic, an infrastructure that meets the most up-to-date requirements has been created.

At present, the Olympic Sports Complex, Chess Center, "Youth Centers", an exhibition hall are operating in Nakhchivan. The measures to form and develop Nakhchivan youth in the spirit of national values, patriotism are continuing in 2018. The results and achievements in recent years prove that the young of autonomous republic have great opportunities in the field of intellectual and creative activity. From this point of view, the election of Nakhchivan city as the country's Youth Capital is of great importance. This status creates new opportunities for young people in terms of introducing Nakhchivan, the gate of the ancient East, demonstrating the tourism potential of the autonomous republic that has modern urbanization culture and architectural style.

The final result of the contest showed that Nakhchivan youths are able to properly use electronic internet resources and social networks and to carry out successful propaganda activities in this area. The Ministry will boost its activities in Nakhchivan, both the Capital of Islamic Culture and the Youth Capital of the country this year, and in the autonomous republic, and the work done in this direction will continue in accordance with the instructions of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
