The concert dedicated to Youth Day

For several days, events and concerts are organized in the capital and district centers of our ancient land on the occasion of "Youth Day".

The election of Nakhchivan city as the Youth Capital of Azerbaijan for 2018 has created a joy and enthusiasm for young people in the autonomous republic.

State youth policy, which founded by the great leader, is successfully implemented in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic today, upbringing of youth in the national spirit is at the center of attention. Their active participation in public-political, economic and cultural life, solution of their social problems, adoption of relevant state programs on all aspects of youth policy, increasing state care for young talents, youth promotion in science, education, economics, culture, public administration and other areas and evaluation of their services, as a whole, constitutes the basis of the measures taken in the field of work with young people in the autonomous republic.

On February 2, a concert of Folk Instruments Orchestra of Nakhchivan State Philharmonic was held at the “Youth” Center in Nakhchivan on the occasion of "Youth Day". It should be noted that the Folk Instruments Orchestra of Nakhchivan State Philharmonic was one of the first orchestras to start functioning within the philharmonic. The performances of well-known singers of the collective are always met with great sympathy by music-lovers.

Artistic master of the orchestra is the Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elman Aliyev. Elman Aliyev and Samir Asgarov were the conductors of the concert yesterday.

The Orchestra first performed “Overture” from “Asli and Karam opera by Uzeyir Hajibayov at the concert dedicated to the “Youth Day”.

"Azerbaijan" ashug song performed by the Honored artist of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Hunar Aliyev created a delightful atmosphere for the audience.

The young singers Ilkin Abdullayev and Narmin Huseynova performed “My country” romance by Asaf Zeynalli, “Gurban geder eshgimiz” (our love will die) by Rashid Mammadov, “Native land” by Ramiz Mirishli, “Guldur meni (make me laugh) by Tofig Ahmadov.

The honored artists of the Republic of Azerbaijan Gurban Gasimov, Mubariz Asgarov performed the songs of Azerbaijani composers Gambar Huseynli, Ramiz Mirishli, Emin Sabitoghlu, Said Rustamov.

The honored artists of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Gariba Hasanova, Zulfugar Mahmudov performed composer and folk songs.

The works of Antonio Vivaldi, Ludwig Minkus composed on different subjects and genres were also performed at the concert.

The concert, which lasted more than an hour, created a pleasant atmosphere for music lovers.
