A roundtable talk at the Nakhchivan State History Museum

Nakhchivan State History Museum hosted a roundtable talk on  "Nakhchivan museums, the result of the autonomy: history and modernity" on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

Nizami Rahimov, the director of the Nakhchivan State History Museum, Honored Culture Worker of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic made an opening speech at the event organized by the Nakhchivan State History Museum and talked about the importance of museums as a bridge between our ancient past and today.

Then, Gumral Asadova, the employee of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Nazaket Asadova, the director of the "Khan Palace" State Historical-Architectural Museum, Momina Khatun and the Museum In Open Air, Honored Culture Worker of the Azerbaijan Republic, Alemzar Ibrahimova, the director of the Literature Museum of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic named after Jalil Mammadguluzade and others gave speeches at the meeting.

The speeches was mainly about the history of museum work in Nakhchivan, the state care for the development of museums, the services of great leader Heydar Aliyev in this area and the successful conduct of his noble deeds in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

At the end of the event, the exhibition devoted to the autonomous history of Nakhchivan was viewed.
