On April 13, the concert of the of the National Instruments Orchestra of the Nakhchivan State Philharmonic on "Nakhchivan - Capital of Islamic Culture 2018" was held at Kangarli Region Culture House.

The announcer said that events and concerts will be held in 2018 on being Nakhchivan the capital of Islamic Culture in the capital and regions of our ancient land . Various music collectives show the richness of Azerbaijani music in their performances.

It was noted that the National Instruments Orchestra of the Nakhchivan State Philharmonic was one of the first orchestras of it. The collective's well-known singers are always welcomed by music lovers. Today, the collective has a new repertoire for you. The art director of the orchestra is Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elman Aliyev.

When the concert started with the performance of "Overture" of the opera "Koroghlu" by genius Uzeyir Hajibeyov, the magnificence and the power of our music to lift the spirit were once again felt.

Young singer Ilkin Abdullayev, Narmin Huseynova, Rahim Asgarzadeh performed lyric songs of Haji Khanmammadov, Suleyman Asgarov and Tofig Ahmadov.

Honored Artists of the Republic of Azerbaijan Gulyanag Farzaliyeva, Tural Najafov, Gurban Gasimov, Honored Artists of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Elchin Naghiyev, Gariba Hasanova, Zulfugar Mahmudov performed songs of Azerbaijani composers Emin Sabitoghlu, Tofig Guliyev, Elza Ibrahimova, Ganbar Huseynli, Jahangir Jahangirov and folk songs.

Then the orchestra performed the works of prominent representatives of world music Antonio Vivaldi and Giuseppe Verdi.

The concert created a great atmosphere for the residents of the region.
