On July 26, in accordance with the Action Plan of the Knowledge Fund under the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, “Sky bird” performance by Belgian poet-dramatist, Nobel Prize laureate Moris Metterling was demonstrated at Nakhchivan State Musical Drama Theater.
The play “Sky bird” for the first time in the Nakhchivan Theater impresses with optimistic ideas. This philosophical work, written in children’s poetry, impresses wise and exemplary feelings. The play is about the visit of the son of a wood-hunter, Tiltil and his daughter, Mitil, to the world of other memories, night palace, forest, garden of happiness, and happy future worlds searching for the magical Sky Bird to cure the sick girl in the neighborhood on Christmas Eve. During the journey, they met the dream of their grandparents who passed away long ago, as well as the trees, animals, light, and the secrets of the night hidden by the night. At the end of the performance, they wake up and return to their own world. It turns out that their journey took place overnight. They realize that the Sky Bird, the symbol of happiness, is in the heart of everyone. The happiness of every human being love and kindness is in his heart. Those who want to be happy should be able to be kind. The biggest happiness is the parent’s love. The children images in the play enable the idea of the work symbolizing the happy future of mankind.
The performance produced by Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Tofig Seyidov, the painter is Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ulviyya Hamzayeva, the music designer is PhD in art Natavan Gadimova. Honored artists of the Republic of Azerbaijan Behruz Hagverdiyev, Ali Aliyev, Honored Artists of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vusal Rzayev, Keklik Novruzova, young actors Heyran Abdullayeva, Vali Babayev, Shole Novruzbeyli and Fatima Yusifli managed to achieve a successful scene.
After the performance Vasif Talibov, the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, came to the scene and met the creative staff.
The Chairman of the Supreme Majlis congratulated the staff on the occasion of successful performance and said: According to the Action Plan of the Knowledge Fund under the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the plays of different genres are selected and performed in Nakhchivan theater every year. One of such performances is a performance based on Morris Metterlin’s “Sky Bird” philosophical work. The Nakhchivan theater has staged plays on history, drama, comedy and other genres. In recent times the works written in the philosophical genre have been staged. One of such works is “Sky Bird”. In addition to director’s work, scenic scenery, musical compositions, and performances by professional actors performances by amateur and young actors from theaters in the autonomous republic have led to a successful performance.
The Chairman of the Supreme Majlis said: Works written in philosophical genres, despite of their difficult perception have great meanings. Therefore, the performance should be demonstrated in the districts of the autonomous republic, and should be presented to a wide audience. The successful performance of the performance is also a sign of Nakhchivan’s development. Because the development of every land is measured not only by economic development, but also by cultural development. It is impossible to achieve common development without cultural development.
