Every summer there is an increase in the number of people applying for natural treatment for bronchial asthma and other upper respiratory tract diseases in Duzdagh Physiotherapy Center.  From the beginning of the year approximately two thirds of the 3,000 patients who come to the center for treatment are children and about 200 foreigners.

According to the order of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis  of   Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, major reconstruction and repair works were carried out at the hospital part of the center. The number of beds increased to 70 being 49 and 21 in two mines.

The modern conditions created at the center, the care of qualified doctors and technicians, and other organized services also provide convenience for those arriving for treatment purposes as well as for accompanying them. At the center, the medical staff consisting of 25 persons also serves patients received in 2 turns.

Citizens of all ages and social categories of our country are treated free of charge in the center. Duzdagh is very convenient for foreign tourists. Patients from the Russian Federation, Turkey, Iran, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries are being treated at the center today.
