The Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic signed an order on the books that are necessary to read

On August 28, the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of  Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov signed an order “ On books that are necessary to read”. The decree states:

“Governed by the 22nd paragraph of II Part of Article 5 of the Constitution of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, I decree:

  1. To confirm “The list of books that are necessary to read”, which serves the formation of patriotism, history, national roots and outlook in the younger generation (attached).
  2. In accordance with Part 1 of this Decree, appropriate book-sections are created in libraries of educational and cultural institutions.
  3. Supreme Majlis’s Office should keep in the focus the work of enriching the list of books to be read”.

It should be noted that the list of books that should be read has been confirmed with the order as well:

  1. Appeal of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev to the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of New 2001year, New Age and Third Millennium.
