The 10th anniversary of Nakhchivan State Children’s Theatre was marked

An event related to the 10^th anniversary of Nakhchivan State Children’s Theatre was marked at Nakhchivan State Musical Drama named after Jalil Mammadguluzadeh.

The minister of culture and tourism of the autonomous republic Natavan Gadimova made a speech at the event and she mentioned that Nakhchivan State Children’s Theatre established on the basis of the Decree of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated October 4, 2006, more than 10 years enriches and develops the outlook of little theatre lovers. At the same time, the theatre has become an art center giving detailed information about different types of art.

Director of the Nakhchivan State Children’s Theatre, Honored artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Tofig Seyidov announced that the theatre opens its new season with the performance to be shown at the event and he congratulated theatre lovers on this occasion. He spoke in detail about the theater’s creative way and repertoire.

The young actress of the theater  Heyran Abdullayeva, touched upon the theater-audience problem and said that parents and teachers played a great role in raising interest in children for performances.

Then the performance based on the allegorical fairy tale “The little Prince” by outstanding French writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry was demonstrated. The performance is based on real life episodes among fantasy, allegory and reality, which is the journey of the prince to seven small planets. The sincere attitude of the prominent writer to the people, the emotions of seeing the beauty of life, the understanding and benevolence are the main leitmotiv of the work. The little princesses are performed by Nurbeniz Niftaliyeva and Rahman Abbasov in the performance.

Vali Babayev  (Pilot), Mehri Nabiyeva (Snake and Rose), Heyran Abdullayeva (Fox), Ughur Nasirli (Railroadman), Joshgun Aliyev (Hunter) perform their roles successfully. Behruz Hakhverdiyev presents the images (the king, the ambitious man, the drunkard, the businessman, the lantern man, the geographer) that the little prince meets in natural and lively way to the spectators. At first glance, a sophisticated spectacle gives a pleasant surprise, in fact, to the fact that it raises moral and ethical ideas to a person. The dances in the performance are performed by Ayshan Mammadova, Nuray Malikzadeh, Shafag Budagova, Aysu Hasanzadeh, Ilkana Bayramova, Turkana Bayramova. Exception for a few professional actors, the spectacle, with the participation of children, was met with interest.

Producers of the performance are the Honored artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Tofig Seyidov and Nurbaniz Niftaliyeva, the painters are Behruz Guliyev and Habib Allahverdiyev. Humay Gafarova and Nurbeniz Niftaliyeva gave the composition of the dances of the performance. Music designer is Nurbaniz Niftaliyeva.
