Seminar-training at Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Literature Museum named after Jalil Mammadguluzadeh

Seminar-training for museum guides was held atNakhchivan Autonomous Republic Literature Museum named after Jalil Mammadguluzadeh.

At the seminar-training held by the organization of Culture and Tourism Ministry the collaborator of the ministry Gumral Mamiyeva delivered a speech on the topic “Behavior rules of museum guides” and she mentioned that since last year, the seminars held in museums are important for the museum staff to follow the working principles and their rules of conduct. The main purpose of the seminar-trainings for museum guides is to increase theoretical and practical knowledge of the guides on the organization of excursion work in museums. In the seminar-training, museum guides are thoroughly familiar with the functions of their mission, as well as learn more about the museum’s work. At the same time, these events are also important in terms of creating conditions for museum staff to get acquainted with museums located in all parts of our ancient land.

It was noted that consistent work is being carried out to organize high level of museum activity in the autonomous republic. The construction, reconstruction and strengthening of the material and technical base for our museums will help raise the level of museum work. The work done requires great responsibility from museum workers. Today it is very important for our museums to have well-versed, knowledgeable, foreign language-speakers guides who have detailed knowledge about the cultural center that they work.

It was noticed that in order to provide tourists with information about our ancient land, the museum guides should always improve themselves, should know our history and culture well and be aware of innovations. In the first half of this year, more than 217,000 visitors have visited our museums, of which about 45,000 are foreigners.

Then, at the presentation of the museum guide, they reviewed the museum’s exposition.  The museum guides were provided with methodical recommendations.
