A new building of the Culture House of Sadarak region has been commissioned

The complex development of the autonomous republic also included the Sadarak region, the border settlement. Wide-scale construction work has been done, modern infrastructure has been created, and comfortable living of the residents has been provided in the region. The implemented measures also provide opportunities for the development of culture in the Sadarak region.

A new building of the Culture House of Sadarak was commissioned on November 28.

Vasif Talibov, the Chairman of Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening.

The Chairman of the Supreme Majlis congratulated the residents of the district and the collectives of the organizations that will work in the building on the occasion of the commissioning of the new building of the Culture House of Sadarak region and said: The commissioning of Culture House of Sadarak will bring about a revival of cultural life in the region. The building will include Culture and Tourism Department of Sadarak region, Centralized Library System and Culture House. This means creating up-to-date working conditions for nearly 40 employees in all three organizations.

The Chairman of the Supreme Majlis said: The conditions created in the Culture House will allow holding various cultural and mass events. There are all conditions for the theater and musical collectives of the Autonomous Republic, as well as the students of the children's music school of the region, to perform at the Cultural House with performances and concerts. Therefore, the Executive Power of the Sadarak region together with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic should prepare an action plan, the theater and musical collectives of the Autonomous Republic should be invited to the region, events should be held with the participation of the public, spectacles and concerts should be organized. The rich book fund of the Centralized Library System should be used, book days and discussions should be conducted. The organizations in the Culture House should make efficient use of the created conditions, work at the level of the day, and contribute to the development of cultural life in the Sadarak region.

The Chairman of the Supreme Majlis wished the collectives success in the fulfillment of the tasks set up and met the conditions created in the building.

It was informed that on the ground floor of a 4-storey building with a basement there are 3 rooms for the Department of Culture and Tourism, a 220-seat projector-installed auditorium and decoration, film projection and make-up rooms. On the second floor, there is the Cataloging and Processing Department of Central Library, Readers' Service Department, reading room and rooms for the fund and on the third floor there are rooms for the children's section of the Centralized Library System and the Culture House. In the basement of the building, the canteen, boiler room and archive will operate.

There are 3 computers and 1 piano in the Culture House. Currently, the Culture House has painting and garmon associations, children's halay (a folk dance) group. The fund of the Central Library of the Centralized Library System in Sadarak region has 21,741 books. In the children's section, there are 1900 Cyrillic, 1503 Latin-written, and 3,403 books in total.

The Chairman of the Supreme Majlis also gave instructions on how to organize the activities of associations in the Culture House and the effective use of libraries.

Then there was a performance of instrumental ensemble and children's dance collective of the Culture House in Sadarak region.

The Chairman of the Supreme Majlis met with members of instrumental ensemble and children's halay group, expressed the importance of holding concerts and rational use of the conditions created for the activity of the Culture House.

A modern lighting system has been installed in the yard of the building and renovation processes have been carried out.
