Master classes for teachers and pupils of children's musical schools of the region organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic were held in Ordubad City Children's Music School.
Leyla Alimardanova, an employee of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, said that the main purpose of these lessons is to improve the quality of teaching and to develop students' skills and abilities.
Then, Tural Najafov, the Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan on vocal specialty, Narmina Gadimova, the Honored Teacher of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on piano specialty, Abulfat Babayev, the director of Children's Music and Art School named after A. Javid, the Honored Artist of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on kamancha specialty, taught master classes to the teachers and pupils.
Tural Najafov, the Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan stated in the master class that it is important for a teacher who teaches vocal subjects to properly identify the secrets of vocal, the way of singing, the style of composers and the timbre. Teacher should not only have a scientific knowledge of the student in the teaching process, but must also tell that he\she should listen to the performances of well-known vocalists on a regular basis.
Narmina Gadimova, the Honored Teacher of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic who conducts master classes on piano, said that during the performance of the works, it is necessary to properly implement intonation, phrase, idea, image, drama and other artistic means. Pianists should also know the genres and styles of their music.
In the master class on kamancha, Abulfat Babayev briefed about this ancient musical instrument and informed students about the works performed on kamancha. It was noted that, as well as in a number of national musical instruments, it is necessary to instill skills in the student and approach them individually on kamancha.
