The qualifying round of the dance collectives completed

On November 24, at Sharur Region Culture Palace and Kangarli region Culture House, the  qualifying round of the dance competition of the dancing collectives of Sharur, Kangarli and Sadarak regions, the dancing and yalli collectives from Babek and Shahbuz held at Babek region Culture House ended.   

As we reported, the main goal of the competition, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, is to promote national dances, which are an integral part of our national culture, revealing talented people and dance performers, directing the potential of creative collectives, and preparation for cultural events to be held in Nakhchivan, the capital of Islamic culture in 2018. It should be noted that the organizing committee and the jury were established for holding the competition and the regulation was approved by the order of the ministry. Non-professional dance circles, groups and collectives in the autonomous republic participate in the competition. There is no age limit for the members of the collectives in the competition. According to the terms of the regulation, the number of collectives, the duration of the numbers to be played were determined. Successful teams are eligible to participate in the main round by the jury decision.

The competition will also focus on the clothes and stage culture of the collective members and other dance-related criteria. The main round of the competition is planned to be held in Nakhchivan city in the first decade of December of this year. The winners will be awarded with diplomas and gifts of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. At the closing concert of the contest, the winners of the I, II and III places and successful collectives will participate.

In the selection round held in Kangarli district, the "Sari galin" yalli collective of Kangarli region Culture House with “Sari galin” yalli, “Sevinj” children’s yalli group of Shahtakhti village Culture House with “Tirmashal” yalli, the children’s yalli group of Gabilli village Culture House with “Tanzara” yalli, “Tejgar” yalli collective of Sadarak Region Children’s Music School with “Festivali” yalli, “Sharur gonchalari” children’s yalli ensemble of Sharur Region Culture Palace with “Khalafi”  yalli held at Sharur Region Culture Palace won the right to participate in the next stage of the competition. At the qualifying round held at the Culture House of Babek, the yalli group of the Culture House of Badamli village of Shahbuz region with “Uchayaghi” yalli, “Babek” dance group of Babek region Children’s Music School with “Nakhchivan suite” and “Tellarini yan dara, giz” (Girl, comb your hair) dances, “Sabina” dance group of Karimbayli village Culture House with “Chobanlar” (shepherds) dance, “Buta” dance group of Kultapa village Culture House with “Agh chichak” (white flower) succeeded.
