On December 20, the Youth Center of Nakhchivan hosted a musical-intellectual game "Lira" among the students of children's musical, art and crafts schools organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
Before starting the game, it was stated that all the children's musical and artistic arts schools of the Autonomous Republic had participating in the music and intellectual game "Lira" organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and schedule was drawn up. Under the schedule, according to the results of games during the 2017-2018 academic year, the winner teams will participate in the final round in mid-2018. The purpose of holding these games is to help students increase their knowledge and to raise their intellectual level.
It was noted that 6 teams are participating in today's match. Then the teams "Shur" (Babek Region Nehram Village Children's Music School), "Jangi" (Sharur Region Aralig Village Children's Music School), "Nuh yurdu" (Kangarli Region Children's Music School), "Ballada" (Nakhchivan City Children's Music School No.1 named after M.Mammadov), "Buta" (Julfa City Children's Music School) and "Accent" (Ordubad Region Vanand Village Children's Music School) were presented to the participants.
According to the terms of the game, firstly the teams were informed about the selection stage. It was noted that this stage consists of two rounds and 3 teams will participate in each round. In both rounds, participants will be asked 20 questions about the life and activities of outstanding composers, general music outlook, and the teams got the highest points will take part in the main stage of the game.
The main stage will be held among 4 teams consisting of 5 people and will consist of 3 rounds. In the I and III round will be asked questions about life and activities of prominent composers, general music outlook, and in the II round the students will be asked questions in the form of listening to music and defining them. The correct answer to each question will be 100 points. In the end, the teams with the highest scores will be awarded I, II, III and IV places.
In this interesting and intense musical-intellectual game, the students of music schools were active in answering questions about composers. They have found the works of prominent Azerbaijani and world composers by listening to them and answered the questions about general-theoretical sides of music.
After answering all the questions, teams who have got the highest points have been rewarded. The team "Accent" (Ordubad Region Vanand Village Children's Music School) was awarded the I place diploma scoring 3800 points, team "Buta" (Julfa City Children's Music School), awarded the II place diploma scoring 2900 points, "Ballada" (Nakhchivan City Children's Music School No.1 named after M.Mammadov) awarded the III place diploma scoring 2300 and "Nuh yurdu" (Kangarli Region Givrag Village Children's Music School) got 2000 points and it was awarded a diploma
