On February 14, a round table was organized at Nakhchivan State History Museum on the topic “Organization of work on creating exhibits base included in the museum funds and difficulties encountered”.
The collaborator of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Gumral Asadova opened the event and mentioned that important measures are carried out in the autonomous republic to revive the activity of the museums, to establish new museums, these cultural institutions are established on the level modern requirements. The measures in the direction of establishing the activity of the museums on the level of today’s requirements and expanding museum networks were also continued in 2017. Last year 445 thousand 747 visitors including 110 thousand 425 foreigners visited the museums. In the first two months of this year, 24 thousand 434 people, including 5 thousand 359 foreigners visited the museums.
It was stated that the organization of the open lessons, seminar-trainings has become regular. The measures in the direction of enrichment the museums funds yield its fruit. Thus, last year the museums received 1340 new exhibits. This year, in January these cultural institutions were presented 130 exhibits.
Then, the head of Nakhchivan State History Museum, the Honored culture worker of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Nizami Rahimov, the head of the Museum of Heydar Aliyev Ramil Orujaliyev, the head of “Khan Palace” State Historical-Architectural, Momina Khatun and in the open air museum complex, the Honored culture worker of the Republic of Azerbaijan Nazakat Asadova and others made speeches. In the speeches, the rules of admission and handing of exhibits to the museum, the organization and registration of the electronic database of new exhibits, accounting of funds and electronic bases, auxiliary accounting forms, the importance of creating an electronic database, the difficulties faced in this work, the innovations in the museum work were widely discussed.
