On February 14, "Aladdin's magic lamp" performance from “1001 nights tales” was viewed at Nakhchivan State Puppet Theatre named after M.T.Sidgi.

Let's note that "Aladdin's magic lamp" is one of the tales that children always read in Arabic tales. The tale has been staged by the artistic director-head of the theatre, People's Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shirzad Abutalibov. The fairy tale is rich with realistic and fantastic elements. Aladdin's exciting adventures have been impressive. The producer, People's Artist Shirzad Abutalibov managed to create an interesting performance. This performance, based on the motifs of the Arab folk tales, tells the experiences of poor Aladdin. Aladdin, who left his helpless mother and went to realize his dreams by a witch's trick faced many troubles. The evil spirit plays an important role in the incidents happened to him. But the human mind is stronger than any force. In this performance, good people also win. Aladdin regained his mother and happiness. An exciting actor show, a beautifully decorated show, features real tale stories. Children's favorite fairy tales, using the synthesis of actors and puppets stimulate little audiences to rely on the truth, courage, and endure difficulties. Especially fantastic images of the fairy tale the Witch, the Giant, the Evil spirit made pleasant impression.

The main idea of the performance-fairy tale is to find happiness and luck of people by overcoming difficulties. Finding magical lamp by Aladdin, and then stolen by the witch, meeting with magical forces are interesting scenes in the performance. Aladdin (actor Arzu Safarov), who overcomes all difficulties, at the end finds happiness. In the play prepared for children, the idea of relying on the truth and overcoming the difficulties is presented in interesting scenes. Along with the natural performing of the fairy tale heroes, the actors also beautifully sound them. Aladdin's mother (actress Ulduz Suleymanova), witch (actor Ilgar Babayev), Evil spirit (actor Ilham Babayev), Giant (actor Ibad Nabiyev) and others perform their roles masterly in the performance.

It is worth mentioning the work of Rafael Gadimov, the painter of the performance "Aladdin's magic lamp", in the field of artistic arrangement and preparing puppets. The artist has created a good décor in the performance using his imagination and fantasy. The melodies chosen by Ali Mammadov, who is engaged in the musical setting of the performance, are in line with the performances.

Staging of this world-famous tale in Nakhchivan State Puppet Theater is met with great interest. The performance may be considered the successful and creative work of the collective. Because this famous tale has repeatedly attracted the attention of world cinematographers. The fairy tale has been repeatedly shown, animated films have been shot and performances have been performed.

After the performance, the minister of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Natavan Gadimova, people’s artists Kamran Guliyev, Shirzad Abutalibov and others made speeches and expressed their views and opinions about the performance.

In the coming weeks the performance "Aladdin's magic lamp" will be shown to children.
