By the organization of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the master class was conducted for the teachers and students under the motto "Nakhchivan - The Capital of Islamic Culture - 2018" at the Shahbuz city Children’s Music School.
Before the master class, Leyla Alimardanova, the Head of the sector of music development and work with educational institutions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, said that the main purpose of these lessons is to improve the quality of teaching, to develop students’ skills and abilities.
Then Jalil Ismayilov, the well-known teacher and musician of the autonomous republic, the teacher on the tar of the Nakhchivan Music College, Narmina Qadimova, Honored Teacher of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on the piano, Abulfat Babayev, the Honored Artist of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on kamancha, and Zulfugar Mahmudov, Honored Artist of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on singing, conducted master classes for the teachers and students.
Jalil Ismayilov informed that tar is an ancient musical instrument of Azerbaijan people. Teaching the students to play the tar musical instrument during the teaching process, the students should also be practiced the habit of learning, taking into consideration their individual qualities they should given creative approach. The teacher should know the methodology of tar teaching.
Narmina Qadimova, who conducted a master class on the piano noted that during the performance of the musical works, it is necessary to properly perform the intonation, the phraseology, the idea, the image, the drama and other artistic means. Pianists should also know the genres and styles of the music they perform.
Abulfat Babayev, the Honored Artist of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic who conducted master class on the kamancha gave detailed information about the instrument and explained its creative opportunities. Then he informed the students about the works performing on the kamancha. It was noted as other musical instruments, in the kamancha, the student needs to instill in practice habits and approach them personally.
Zulfugar Mahmudov, who conducted master class on singing, said that the proper teaching of mugham, one of the most important spheres of Azerbaijani folk music, should be a priority for every singing teacher. It's one of the most important issues to the check timbre, diapason, and rhythm of each student entering the Mugham class. Teacher, along with teaching mugham, should also teach them keep track of their own voice, sleep and eating habits, and periodically inspect them. Singing teacher should know all the fields of mugham, perform it, and know the metres, play the gaval.
