Today there are three museums related to Jalil Mammadguluzade in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. One of these museums is located in the Nakhchivan city, where Jalil Mammadguluzadeh was born, while the other two were in Nehram village of Babek region and Jalilkand of Sharur region. Moreover, the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Literature Museum is named after this great writer. All of these are due to the state care and national love for Mirza Jalil's art.
Recently we visited the Mirza Jalil Memorial Museum in Jalilkand, Sharur. Jalil Mammadguluzade was a pedagogical worker at the elementary school in this village, from October 13, 1887 to January 13, 1890 after graduating from Gori Teachers' Seminary. Also, information and photographs of Jalil Mammadguluzade's works on Nakhchivan theater are also displayed here. It should be noted that "Chay Destgahi" - the first work of the writer, had worked at Jalilkend school in 1889, was performed by the teachers and pupils of the Jalilkend school in the same year, and the director of the performance was the author himself. You can get acquainted with the photos of Jalil Mammadguluzadeh's works performed at the Nakhchivan Theater.
Recently, a new exhibit has been added to the museum's fund. This is a copy of the resolution No. 4405 of Kars Treat. Tagi Safiyev, a colleague of Mirze Jalil, had also signed the resolution as a representative of the Transcaucasian states in 1921.
We are glad to see very beautiful and remarkable work to preserve the museums that have a valuable role in bringing our nation's cultural heritage to the future generations in our autonomous republic today.
