It was stated that language has emerged from the need to communicate with each other in a multitude of ages, in order to speak to one another. So language is a means of communication among people. Language as a means of communication is created and functioning only in certain circumstances – in human society. Therefore, language is considered a public event. An essential condition for the existence of the human language is the existence of human beings. Where there is no human society, language can not exist. Thus, if a newborn child does not communicate with people, that is, he can not speak in a non-human environment. People were able to communicate with each other only within a certain distance with the help of verbal language. Over time, people were in need of contact with places where there was no sound. Our language is historically known as Turkish language, turki (Turkish), turkja (Turkish), and now it is formalized as Azerbaijani language.
It was noted that more than 30 million Azerbaijanis living in different parts of the world speak this language. The Azerbaijani language is the state language of our independent republic. The mother language is a mirror of the spirituality of every nation, an integral part of the world's culture, and a spiritualvitality. It is a nation that protects its language and develops it. Language is the mirror of the heart, the key to human perfection.
At the end of the event, "International Mother Language Day" exhibition was viewed.
