Ordubadi gave information about "The Ruler".
It was mentioned that Niccolò Machiavelli’s "The Ruler" has always been in the memory of humanity, for deep ideas and thoughts this work has been included in the world's cultural treasury. In his work, Machiavelli carefully analyzes generosity and savagery, cruelty and mercy, love and hatred, as well as other such things along with many things. All these concepts are explained and give them new meanings. While analyzing the concept of cruelty and love, Machiavelli shows that every person would be known as a merciful man, not as a cruel person. But he immediately notes that if the ruler wants to keep his subjects obedient, he should not be afraid to be recognized as a cruel man. Punishing several people is better than giving way to disturbances, because all the people are damaged by the riots that resulted in robbery and murder, but only a few people suffer from the punishment given by the ruler. Machiavelli advises kings to keep people afraid of better than being their favorite. Because most people are traitors, cowards, hypocrites and liars. In the case of danger, these features show themselves. In times of peace these people display their love to you, when you are confused, their faces turn from you, so they are ready not only to betray you even to destroy you. At the end of his work, Machiavelli wishes to unite Italy as a flaming patriot, and urges the whole country to fight for it, and even explains who the person can stand in the fight.
Elvin Khalilov, a physics teacher at the Nakhchivan State Technical College, and Ruziyya Behbudova, an accounting teacher from the college gave brief information about the book.
