Schoolchildren of Baku's regions leave for Nakhchivan within the framework of the tour-campaign "Let's discover our country"

On March 26, 160 students from the schools of Sabunchu, Surakhani, Nizami, Khazar, Narimanov and Pirallahi districts of Baku went to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic within the framework of the educational tour-campaign "Let's discover our country".

Students will get acquainted with Nakhchivan's historical and cultural monuments, traditions and places reflecting the modern side of this ancient land.

Speaking about the importance of the tour, the head of the group from Sabunchu district, Jeyhun Abbasov, said that at this stage of the tour "Let's discover our country" the pupils will be in our regions where they have not seen so far and they will know these places. This will increase the sense of patriotism in our students. We believe that children will return with pleasant impressions.

Schoolboy Hasan Aghayev expressed his joy: The tour "Let's discover our country" is organized for several years. This project helps us to learn more about the history and culture of our country. Today we leave for the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. It was our long-standing dream to see Nakhchivan".

Schoolgirl Parshan Bayramova also said she was happy to be involved in this project. "I also wanted to go to the historical places of Nakhchivan and get acquainted with the monuments of this ancient land. My dream comes true today".

Student Asmar Garayzadeh said: "This project is a great help in increasing our outlook, our intellectual level, as well as the deeper study of our country's history and culture".

Other pupils also thanked the country's leadership for the organization of this tour, which was held to introduce the different parts of our native Azerbaijan to the younger generation.

Then the tour participants left for Nakhchivan.
