In the frame of “Let’s discover our country” tour-campaign, the students from Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic arrived in Baku on March 26.
The participants were met by folklore and dancers group, Kosa, Kechal, the symbols of Novruz, girls dressed national clothes holding samani and holiday trays in their hands.
The group leader, the collaborator of the Ministry of Education of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Panah Ismayilov reported AZERTAJ that 160 students of IX-XI grades of the autonomous republic arrived in Baku with 20 guide-teachers. This visit will also be memorable as others. The students will get acquainted with the historical monuments of our capital, will visit sightseeing places.
The student of Nakhchivan city secondary school No. 12 Aysun Naghdaliyeva said that she was very pleased to take part in “Let’s us discover our country” tour-campaign. She said that she had the opportunity to get acquainted with the historical monuments of our capital within the framework of the project, and said that she would return with rich impressions from her visit and inform her school friends about what she saw here.
The student of Yarimja village of Babak region Kanan Mammadov shared his impressions mentioning that he and his friends would make new friends in the frame of tour-campaign. Additionally, they will get rich information about the history, culture of our country during the excursion.
Students from Nakhchivan will visit national leader Heydar Aliyev’s grave in the Alley of Honor and Alley of Martyrs’ in Baku, will get acquainted with Heydar Aliyev Center, Maiden’s Tower, Shirvanshahs’ Palace, National Azerbaijan History Museum, Art and Carpet museums, “Atasgah” temple and other cultural-historical places.
