The 60th anniversary of People’s artist Hasan Aghasoy marked

On March 27, an event was held on the occasion of the 60^th anniversary of the People’s artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hasan Aghasoy at the Nakhchivan State Musical Drama Theatre named after Jalil Mammadguluzadeh.

Opening the event Rahman Mammadov, chief of Department for Humanitarian Policy Issues and work with Public Organizations of the Machinery of the Supreme Majlis said that special attention is paid to the prominent art figures in our ancient land. The jubilees of art figures are marked at a high level in the autonomous republic. To mark the 60^th anniversary of the People’s artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hasan Aghasoy is an obvious expression of care shown to them.

It was emphasized that People’s artist Hasan Agasoy has had a great creative way, has created more than 80 images in Nakhchivan theater and has gained audience’s popularity. Hasan Aghasoy is also a master of literary reading. He has had important services to prepare young cadres. Hasan Aghasoy’s services have been appreciated by the government. He has been awarded Honored artist of Nakhchivan in 1984, the Honored artist of Azerbaijan in 1989, and People’s artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 1999. In 2005, 2010 he was winner of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in 2008 he was awarded the "Taraggi" (Progress) Medal.

People’s artist was congratulated on behalf of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and was presented a gift.

The minister of culture and tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Natavan Gadimova spoke about the life path and stage activity of Hasan Aghasoy. It was noted that Hasan Aghasoy was born on March 27, 1958 in Gulustan village of Julfa region and got his first education in the village. Hasan Aghasoy who had a great affection for theatre art from his childhood, entered Drama and Cinema Actor of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts in 1975. Hasan Aghasoy successfully completed his education in 1979 and began his career at Nakhchivan State Musical Drama Theater named after Jalil Mammadguluzadeh. In the early years, the actor who attracted the attention of directors with his clear articulation and actor skills, began to create interesting images following each other. It was noted that People's Artist Hasan Agasoy has worked closely with Nakhchivan Television on the first day he came to the art and has taken an active part in many TV shows, television broadcasts and various state events.

The close friends of the People’s artist- director of Nakhchivan State Musical Drama Theater named after Jalil Mammadguluzadeh, People's Artist Rza Khudiyev, People's Artist Kamran Guliyev, Director of Nakhchivan State Children's Theater, Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Tofig Seyidov, director of the Nakhchivan State Puppet Theater named after Mahammad Taghi Sidgi, People's Artist Shirzad Abutalibov, People's Artist Rovshan Huseynov, People's Artist,  Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Yusif Allahverdiyev, chief artist of Nakhchivan State Musical Drama Theater, People's Artist Huseyngulu Aliyev, actor Zakir Fataliyev, young actors Nurbaniz Niftaliyeva and Sayyad Mammadov made their heartfelt words about the People’s artist.

People's Artist Hasan Aghasoy expressed his gratitude to the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of  Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for his care shown to his creative activity and said he would continue to dedicate himself to the development of our stage art.
