Concert dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev

On May 10, the concert of the newly established Symphony Orchestra of Nakhchivan State Philharmonic in front of the Heydar Aliyev Museum was dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev.

The first concert of the orchestra started with the overture of our great composer Uzeyir Hajibeyov's "Koroglu" opera. Performance of the orchestra conducted by Elvin Aliyarov, of which choirmaster was Mahira Asgarova, Honored Teacher of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, ballet-master was Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Tamerlan Bagirov, was met with applause.

After Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Tural Najafov together with the chorus performed the song "Azerbaijan" by Muslim Magomayev, the singers performed "Nakhchivan taranasi" by our prominent composer Ramiz Mishli at the concert.

Folk song "Evlari var khana-khana" performed by Honored artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mubariz Asgarov and his duet with Gulyanag Farzaliyeva “Duet of Gulchohra and Asgar” from “The cloth peddler” operetta demonstrated the richness of our music.

Honored artist of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Elchin Nagiyev performed the song "Vatan naghmasi", Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Vilayat Ismayilov "Dilkash" tasnif, young singer Ilkin Abdullayev Jahangir Jahangirov’s “Ana yurdum” song.

"Heydar - Khalg" song performed by Ilkin Abdullayev and Eldar Mansurov's "Ilhamla sabaha" songs were met with applauses.

The concert ended with the performance of dance collective under Eldar Mansurov's melody "The Land of Fire". The first concert of the symphonic orchestra was welcomed by the residents of Nakhchivan and the guests of our city.
