The concert of the ensemble of ancient musical instruments was held

An ensemble of the ancient musical instruments of the Nakhchivan State Philharmonic gave a concert that its art director is Agib Seyidov, Honored Artist of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, in Ordubad Region Culture House.

The concert attracted attention as a wonderful event dedicated to the promotion of our ancient musical instruments. At the concert, the music performed by a musical ensemble of chang, rud, rubab, chor, ney, barbat, gupuz and other ancient national musical instruments gave a good mood to the audience.

The folk song "Gara teller" was performed by Gurban Gasimov, Honored Artist of Azerbaijan. "Jeyran Sevgilim" by Gurban Gasimov and Garibe Hasanova, Honored Artist of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, folk song "Alma deyende gellem" by Hünar Aliyev, Honored Artist of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, "Sevgiye naz ne gerekdir" duet by soloists Narmin Huseynova and Hünar Aliyev, "Kerkuk" song, "Dili-dili" folk song by singer Jafar Tagiyev, was met with interest.

After "Bayati-Shiraz" tasnif by talented singer Abulfaz Mammadov, folk song "Naz olaydi" was performed. Khatira Safarova and Zulfugar Mahmudov, Honored Artists of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic performed "Segah" tasnif, folk songs "Gara gozun vasmasi", "Chalpapag" and "Birce denesen ay giz".

Open lesson for college students

In accordance with execution of the Decree of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated July 27, 2015, at Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Children’s Library named after A.Babayev, the next open lesson on "Organization of acquisition work in libraries" and "The rules of scientific and technical issues of books" was held for II-III-year students studying in library-information specialty of Nakhchivan Music College.

The director of the library Kamal Akhundov opened the event and congratulated the students on the occasion of the Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis and New Year. The director spoke about the general activity of the library, the structure and the work done with the readers and the collaborators of the library Shabnam Alakbarova and Khadija Huseinova delivered lectures on the mentioned topics. After the reports, detailed discussions were held on the library work.

An excursion to Nakhchivan Tourism Information Center

On December 25, in accordance with the “Action Plan for the 2017-2018 academic year related to the effective organization of education and culture and tourism facilities” of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the circle members of Tourist-Ethnography Center visited Nakhchivan Tourism Information Center.

The participants of the excursion were informed about the historical monument in which Nakhchivan Tourism Information Center is situated, the establishment of the center and its activity. It was noted that, since 2012, the Center has been continuing its activity in the historical monument Zaviya-Madrasa of the XVII-XVIII centuries.

It was mentioned that one the main activity directions of the Nakhchivan Tourism Information Center is to inform the local and foreign tourists addressing the center. Those who address the center are informed about hotels, restaurants, museums, shops, houses for rent, historical-cultural monuments, tour-companies, guides operating in the autonomous republic.

The participants were also informed about the web-page of the center functioning in three languages- Azerbaijan, English and Russian. It was noted that the web page gives detailed information about the tourism potential of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the types of tourism, the materials reflecting our history and culture.

The discussion of “Sword and quill” novel

On the basis of the Decree of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated August 28, 2107 “On the books that are necessary to read”, the discussion of M.S.Ordubadi's novel "Sword and quill" was held at the Nakhchivan State Veterinary Service by the organization of the Nakhchivan City Centralized Library System named after I.Gasimov on December 22.

Sadagat Asgarova, the director of the Nakhchivan City Centralized Library System named after I.Gasimov, the collaborators of the library Narmina Agayeva, Shahla Usifova, the department head of the State Veterinary Service Kamil Gurbanov made speeches.

It was noted that the last historical novel of M.S.Ordubadi who has a strong moral roots with his historical and biographical novels in Azerbaijani literature, is “Sword and quill”.

It is difficult to create the artistic image of Nizami, to describe the difficult period in which he lived and wrote his immortal works. In the famous "Sword and quill" novel M.Ordubadi solved this very difficult issue with his own skill.

The song and dance ensemble of Nakhchivan State Philharmonic gave a concert in the border region

Sədərək Rayon Mədəniyyət Evinin yeni binası istifadəyə verilib All conditions have been created for cultural and mass events in Sadarak District Culture House, which was commissioned last month. The Nakhchivan State Puppet Theater named after M. T. Sidgi has recently met with the schoolchildren of this border region with A. Abbasov's "The revenge of the goat". Taking into account that there are many schoolchildren, the theater has again planned to show theater performances at the House of Culture in Sadarak. The Nakhchivan State Film Fund has shown the film "Shared bread" to the residents of the region within the framework of the "Azerbaijan Cinema Day". Cultural and mass events are being held in Sadarak District Culture House.

On December 22, the Nakhchivan State Philharmonic Song and Dance Ensemble performed an interesting concert program. The first performance of the ensemble which the art director is Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Zeynalabdin Babayev, the ballet-master is Tamerlan Bagirov, the Honored Culture Worker of the Republic of Azerbaijan, is Said Rustamov’s “Azerbaijan suite”.
