Events are being continued related to National Music Day

On September 15,   concert of the Song and Dance Ensemble of  Nakhchivan State Philharmony  was held in the   Culture House of Babek on the occasion of   “National Music Day”. The announcer mentioned that our people have a number of holidays and historical days, which annually bring joy to people, inspire feelings of care for our national and moral values. One of these days is National Music Day. It was noted that Song and Dance Ensemble of well-known music collective of the philharmony, will present joyful moments to music lovers today.

Honored artists of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Zulfugar Mahmudov, Hunar Aliyev, Khatira Safarova, the singers Jafar Tagiyev, Namig Valiyev, Narmin Huseynova, Samiddin Valiyev, Husein Gasimov performed composer songs and folk songs. Presentation of folk songs was met with applauds side by side  lyric songs of our composers such as Jahangir Jahangirov, Alakbar Tagiyev, Ramiz Mirishli, Ogtay Kazimov, Haji Khanmammadov, Ogtay Rajabov, Shafiga Akhundova, Faig Sujaddinov and others.

In the second part of the concert “Three flowers”, “Gaytaghi”, “Uzundara” and other folk dances were performed as well.

The two-hour concert made good impressions on the residents of Babek.

Note that, concerts and events related to National Music Day in our ancient city continue for a week. Today, (September 16) Nakhchivan State Philharmony Orchestra will have a concert in Julfa.
