Folk day in Shahbuz

The folk day was held in Shahbuz region on the implementation of the tasks arising from the Decree of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated February 7, 2009 “On Holding Folk Days in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic”.

Director of Culture and Tourism Department of Shahbuz region Mubariz Aliyev and director of the Scientific-Methodical Center for Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Sayyar Mammadov talked about the importance of studying the folk art samples and the   development of ancient art fields.

At the event, the regional culture house, the culture houses of the Yukhari Gishlag, Badamli, Kolani, Kechili villages, the collectives of the Kichik Oba village club performed folk songs, ashug melody, “Finjan-finjan”, “Chopudu”, “Hodu-hodu” folk dances, “Uch ayag” (three feet), “El yallisi”, “Tanzara”, “Tello” yallis, music pieces on drum, black zourna, balaban, national traditions, folk art samples were presented to the audience.
