In accordance with the Action Plan of the Knowledge Foundation under the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, each year, works in various genres are selected to perform in Nakhchivan State Musical Drama Theater named after Jalil Mammadguluzadeh. One of such examples is the performance based on the philosophical work of the Belgian poet-dramatist, Nobel Prize laureate Maurice Maeterlinck’s “The Blue Bird”.
On July 26, at Nakhchivan State Musical Drama Theater named after Jalil Mammadguluzadeh was a public review of the performance of Belgian poet-dramatist, Nobel laureate Maurice Maeterlinck’s “The Blue Bird”, as well as it was included the “List of Books that are necessary to read” approved by the Order of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated August 28, 2017.
As a continuation of these events, Nakhchivan State Musical Drama Theater started touring the districts of the autonomous republic with the play “The Blue Bird”. The performance was first shown in Sharur district on November 2 and in Kangarli district on November 3.
The artist of the performance which is the production of the Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Tofig Seyidov, is the Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ulviyya Hamzayeva, music designer is PhD in arts Natavan Gadimova.
The play has caused great interest of inhabitants of Sharur and Kangarli districts.
The performance was based on Maurice Maeterlinck’s “The Blue Bird” philosophical play.
This philosophical work, written in children’s poetry, impresses wise and exemplary feelings. The play shows that the happiness of every human being is love and kindness in his heart.
The collective of theatre will perform in the other regions of the autonomous republic with the play “The Blue Bird”.
