The youth exchanged views on the work to be done to introduce Nakhchivan

At the round-table talk on “How do we introduce Autonomous Republic?” organized in the administrative building of the New Azerbaijan Party Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Branch, active young people exchanged views on the work to be done to introduce our native country.

Mammad Babayev, the Executive Director of the Youth Foundation under the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic opened the meeting and said that tourism was an area concentrated on the interest of people's limitless thinking. Therefore, in recent years, numerous tourism areas have been developing. Tourism depends on attractive nature, history, culture, hospitality and security. And they are already a real basis for sustainable development of this area in our Autonomous Republic. Mammad Babayev underlined the importance of the active participation of the young in introducing Nakhchivan's tourism opportunities.

At the event, Tahir Mammadli, the Head of Department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic said that the Autonomous Republic has great tourism potential. The ancient history, rich culture and beautiful nature of Nakhchivan make it more attractive for tourists in modern times. Today, the young have a big task to promote the tourism potential of the ancient land.

Tahir Mammadli, emphasizing the importance of using the virtual space more widely for young people, said that today social networks have begun to spread the lives and behavior of young people in a very comprehensive manner. Different websites are considered to be very useful in promoting tourism opportunities in the Autonomous Republic. Gradually, the number of young people joining social networks for this purpose is increasing, and new groups are created. The young should be active in this work and they should also introduce the sightseeing places of the region where they live.

At the round-table talk, Akbar Novruzov, Head of the Tourism Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, said that the establishment of favorable infrastructure in every part of the autonomous republic, even in the most remote mountain villages, contributed to the comprehensive development of tourism in Nakhchivan. In this regard, there is a great opportunity for rural tourism in the ancient city.

Akbar Novruzov, noting the importance of promoting Nakhchivan's tourism potential in social networks, underlined that e-resource users are currently learning about the processes taking place in the world, largely through the virtual space. At the same time, accessing certain information by other foreign citizens on our country and our autonomous republic is ensured through such resources. Today, the truth about the Autonomous Republic is being promoted in social networks, and the information about the region's modern life is reflected. But there are still many things to do in this area.
