Photo-exhibition "My Nakhchivan" was launched

On May 22, “My Nakhchivan” photo-exhibition by Nakhchivani well-known young photographer Huseyn Bagirav was launched at “Gallery-1969” in Baku.

At the exhibition which outstanding scientific, culture and art figures of the republic, as well as deputies of Milli Majlis participated, the guests first watched a video dedicated to Nakhchivan.

The head of Permanent Representation of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in Baku Bakhtiyar Asgarov made a speech stating the importance of the exhibition. Bakhtiyar Asgarov highlighted the importance of the exhibition's dedication to Nakhchivan and underlined the importance of the photos in terms of meaning and content in the exposition. He noted that the photo-exhibition has great importance in terms of promoting, propagating the mysterious nature of Nakhchivan.

"While witnessing how important Nakhchivan's tourism is in this exhibition of young photographer, it is possible to see the natural geographical possibilities, material and cultural heritage, values our ancient land, which is the pride of our independent state. This exhibition is considered to be successful to draw the attention of international authority to the developed Nakhchivan which has been living in blockade for many years. The national leader Heydar Aliyev: “I do want my future plans related to Nakhchivan to be fulfilled”. As result of purposeful policy of President Ilham Aliyev which founded by national leader Heydar Aliyev, in recent years thanks to the tireless activity of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Nakhchivan has made great progress in all fields - social-economical, scientific-cultural, construction-restoration, industry and agriculture, transport and communication, infrastructure and tourism, at last in the field in raising the living standards of the population, it has made innovations in the field of nature protection, in a word, has become the most advanced exemplary  land of independent Azerbaijan. The gained achievements have greatly increased the potential of the autonomous republic, creating favorable investment, tourism and business environment. The result of fulfilled state programs and purposeful policy implemented in Nakhchivan yield its fruit today. During the great leader's power, the “People-Heydar, Heydar-People” unity has revealed the government-people unity today, has created a basis for the success of our state", - said Bakhtiyar Asgarov.

The head of Representation also added that the photos at the exhibition, where the marvelous landscapes of Nakhchivan are demonstrated once again prove the author's professionalism and love of art. B.Asgarov expressed his gratitude to those who contributed to the organization of the exhibition, wished the young photographer success.

Recalling the latest visit of President Ilham Aliyev, the vice-president of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, academician Isa Habibbayli stated that this visit presented the social-economical development of Nakhchivan, the achievements in the field of cultural construction to the public.  Stressing that the purposeful policy pursued by the head of state is aimed at the development of our capital and regions, the academician said: "Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is one of our regions, which is part of this development strategy. Today, Nakhchivan is experiencing great progress in all spheres of life. Nakhchivan, an integral part of Azerbaijan, lives in its new epoch. Huseyn Bagirov’s photos once again demonstrate all beauties, unique nature and development of Nakhchivan. Looking at the aspect of artistic photography, it is possible to see the current state of Nakhchivan in these pictures. About 70 photographs, which cover the entire territory of Nakhchivan, also convey the beauty of the nature of the native land to people. These beauties are the beauty discovered by the photographer. In the nature of Nakhchivan, pride, majesty and pride complement each other. It's worth praising the photographer's approach to the nature from this aspect".

The academician mentioned that after the national leader Heydar Aliyev returned to the political leadership of the republic, we witnessed a dynamic development in all areas of life in our regions, including Nakhchivan, and the national foundations of our state were built on undisturbed bases. 

It was noted that the continuation of the political line of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, the founder of modern, independent Azerbaijan, under the leadership of Mr. Vasif Talibov, Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, expanded the scope of renovation works in Nakhchivan,  Nakhchivan has become more modern. The new roads, health, education and culture facilities and industrial complexes have laid the foundation for a new stage in the development of the ancient land.

Then the guests viewed the three-day photo exhibition. The exhibition was met with interest.
