Students' internship program continues

Within the framework of the internship organized by the Tourism Department of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the fourth year students who study Tourism and Hotel Management at Nakhchivan State University visited the Nakhchivan State Carpet Museum on December 18.

They were given extensive information about creation of carpet art, ancient exhibits of the museum, carpets and carpet products, national costumes, copper samples and so on. It was also noted that exposition of the Nakhchivan State Carpet Museum was enriched and the museum's website was created in 2013. 

At the end, the student’s questions were answered.

Students visited Historical-Architectural Museum Complex "Nakhchivangala"

Within the framework of the internship organized by the Tourism Department of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the fourth year students who study Tourism and Hotel Management at Nakhchivan State University visited the Historical-Architectural Museum Complex "Nakhchivangala" on December 14.

The students were informed that the Decree of the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic "On the establishment of the Historical-Architectural Museum Complex "Nakhchivangala" dated June 5, 2013, is not only about preservation and promotion of our history but also, an important state document that serves to prove that we are its eternal dwellers with scientific evidences as a nation in the future. The restoration of Nakhchivangala, establishment of the Historical-Architectural Museum Complex “Nakhchivangala” is an important and historic step in terms of studying and promoting the history of Nakhchivan in general.

An article on Nakhchivan posted on Uzbekistan's website

An article titled "Nakhchivan is an ancient land of Azerbaijan" has been posted on an authoritative website of Uzbekistan "uchildiz.uz". The publication of the article organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Uzbekistan and the Cultural Center named after Heydar Aliyev of the Embassy. The article was about the geographical position, territory, population and borders of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the history of autonomy and modern development.

The article underlined that despite the fact that Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was blockaded by Armenia, it had passed a great way of development. The main macroeconomic indicators of the autonomous republic - the gross domestic product, gross domestic product per capita, industrial production, agricultural products, investment in fixed capital, foreign trade turnover, service sector and other sectors - increased almost 20 times. Significant accomplishments have been achieved in culture, health, education, infrastructure and other fields. Today, Nakhchivan is the place where the heads of state and government meet, the prestigious international conferences and forums were held. The article mentions the declaration of Nakhchivan city Youth Capital of our country and the Capital of Islamic Culture for 2018.

Students visited the Literature museum

Within the framework of the internship organized by the Tourism Department of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the fourth year students who study Tourism and Hotel Management at Nakhchivan State University visited the Literature Museum of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic named after Jalil Mammadguluzadeh on December 13.

During the acquaintance with the museum, the students were told that there were 20,329 exhibits in the museum created in 1966. Precious manuscripts, applied and descriptive art samples, ancient and modern books, paper and magazines, memorial things and other museum materials reflecting centuries-old Azerbaijan literature history are kept in its fund. Exhibition includes prominent  members of classic and modern Azerbaijan literature, creativity of poets, writers and art critics brought up in Nakhchivan. There are works of painting and sculpture in various jenres created by Azerbaijan brush masters, documents delaying with Nakhchivan theatre history-posters, programs, spectacles, sketches, also photos reflecting prominent theatre masters' creativity in the exhibition and fund.

An article on Hachadag posted on the “CNN Arabic” website

On November 28 of this year, the official website of “CNN Arabic” TV channel, one of the world's leading media outlets, posted an article titled "Ilanli Mountain that its peak is divided into two parts in Azerbaijan and the cause of calling it Hachadag ".

This website is watched by millions of people in Arabic-speaking countries in the Middle East and it has recently published a series of articles about our country's rich history, culture, traditions, cuisine and tourism potential. The article about Hachadag, which is considered the symbol of Nakhchivan, caused interest of millions of viewers on the “Twitter” social network of the media outlet.
