The third "Beekeeping products-honey festival", which was held in Historical-Architectural Museum Complex "Nakhchivangala" lasted for two days, ended on October 21.
On that day results of the competition in the nomination "The best beekeeping products-honey" were announced. Yashar Habibov from Alahli village of Ordubad, Allahverdi Allahverdiyev from Shahbuz, Huseyn Orujov from Babak were in the I, Imran Mammadov from 54th district of Nakhchivan, Hasan Mammadov from Kirna village of Julfa, Fikrat Mammadov from Gunnut village of Sharur were in the II, Fakhraddin Valiyev from Kirna village of Julfa, Habil Abbasov from Tazakand of Kangarli and Mahir Aliyev from Sadarak village of Sadarak region were in the III place.
The winners were awarded diplomas.
The concert program of Song and Dance Ensemble of Nakhchivan State Philharmonic has created a good atmosphere for the participants.

The announcers of the event informed the audience about the fact that our people were engaged in beekeeping and honey production before the era, and talked about folklore samples, proverbs and proverbial phrases on beekeeping.
Dean of the Medical Faculty of Nakhchivan State University, PhD in Biology, assistant professor Elsevar Asadov said that the geographical position, climate and flora of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic give opportunities for the development of agriculture, especially beekeeping. Therefore, the development of beekeeping is in focus. The importance of beekeeping is not only for the production of precious bee products, but also it plays a special role in increasing the employment of the population, the productivity of agricultural crops and the improvement of seed quality. Beekeeping is one of the most exciting, profitable, nutritionally and therapeutically good agricultural sphere in terms of food and treatment. Compared to other spheres of farms, cost of creating bee farms is less, repayment term is short, the economic development opportunities are wider.
Representatives of media organizations of Turkey's East Anatolian Journalists Federation visited Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Guests were first acquainted with the Khan Palace State Historical-Architectural, Momina Khatin and in the Open Air Museum Complex.
Stone monuments in an open air have caused great interest of Turkish media representatives. It was informed that the Museum in the Open Air was established in Ajami space in Nakhchivan according to the Decree of the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated June 11, 2002.
While visiting the mausoleum of Momina khatin, it was noted that this monument was built in 1186 by the well-known architect Ajami Abubakr oglu Nakhchivani. It is the masterpiece of the architectural school of Ajami in Nakhchivan.
NUHCHIKHAN reports that on 20 and 21 October "Beekeeping products-honey festival" will be held in Nakhchivan. The opening of the festival will take place on October 20 at 11:00. About 300 beekeepers are expected to attend the festival.
Nakhchivan with its clean air and rich flora has been widely spread in ancient times. Today, this sphere is being developed with the support of the state. At present, the number of bee families in the Autonomous Republic is more than 71,000.
Note that "Beekeeping products-honey festival" has been held in Nakhchivan for the third time in Nakhchivan. Up until now “Nakhchivangala” Historical-Architectural Museum Complex has been hosted festivals such as "Goyja", "Plov", "Nakhchivan Bread", "Beekeeping products-honey", "Family farm products", "Yalli", "Creative hands", "Talented children", and "National clothes". Thousands of local people and foreign tourists watched these festivals.
