An international conference “Days of Duzdag” was held in Astana, Kazakhstan. First, a film about Nakhchivan's ancient history and today's development, as well as Nakhchivan’s Duzdag was demonstrated, salt crystals, catalogs, brochures and other materials about Duzdag Physiotherapy Center and Duzdag Hotel were exhibited.
Speaking at the conference, Piri Nagiyev, Senior Adviser of the Sector Development and Promotion of Tourism at Tourism Department of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic spoke about Nakhchivan's ancient history and its current development and the measures taken in the field of tourism in the autonomous republic. Nazim Ibrahimli, a doctor at the "Duzdag" Hotel Physiotherapy Center, informed the conference participants about the activities of the Duzdag Physiotherapy Center and said that all conditions for the reception and treatment of patients applying to the center in all seasons of the year have been created.
Within the framework of the internship organized by the Tourism Department of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the fourth year students who study Tourism and Hotel Management at Nakhchivan State University visited the House Museum of Huseyn Javid on December 20.
It was noted that the museum was founded in 1981 in the house of Huseyn Javid, founder of romantic Azerbaijani literature. 9365 exhibits are collected in its fund. Among them, there are photos reflecting life and creativity of Huseyn Javid, first editions of his works, works having sign of poet, posters and programs of staged drama works, different recollections and household items and etc. Research works and recollections of Javid learners are also exhibited in the exhibition. Busts of Huseyn Javid and his family members were set here.
The students were closely acquainted with exhibits in the museum and their questions were answered.
Within the framework of the internship organized by the Tourism Department of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the fourth year students who study Tourism and Hotel Management at Nakhchivan State University visited the Memorial Museum on December 19.
They were informed that Memorial Museum was founded in 2000 for immortalizing memories of genocide victims caused by Armenians, the Nakhchivan people died in the battles for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. In the museum, 1874 exhibits, consisting of genocide facts, martyrs photos, materials including fighting activity against Armenians, also photos of National and Soviet Union heroes, personal belongings and other materials belonging to them, are preserved and exhibited.
The students were closely acquainted with exhibits in the museum and their questions were answered.
Within the framework of the internship organized by the Tourism Department of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the fourth year students who study Tourism and Hotel Management at Nakhchivan State University visited the Nakhchivan State Carpet Museum on December 18.
They were given extensive information about creation of carpet art, ancient exhibits of the museum, carpets and carpet products, national costumes, copper samples and so on. It was also noted that exposition of the Nakhchivan State Carpet Museum was enriched and the museum's website was created in 2013.
At the end, the student’s questions were answered.

The students were informed that the Decree of the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic "On the establishment of the Historical-Architectural Museum Complex "Nakhchivangala" dated June 5, 2013, is not only about preservation and promotion of our history but also, an important state document that serves to prove that we are its eternal dwellers with scientific evidences as a nation in the future. The restoration of Nakhchivangala, establishment of the Historical-Architectural Museum Complex “Nakhchivangala” is an important and historic step in terms of studying and promoting the history of Nakhchivan in general.
